Syntroma is a Squad-RPG focused on deep team-building and challenging PvE progression. Build your roster, optimize your gear, and navigate a world where victory is earned through tactical synergy and long-term account growth.

Core Features

  • Turn based combat: 5-slot squad combat with tanks, healers, supports, and damage dealers. Auto/manual battle  (Background/Repeat battle planned for future)
  • Shatter Causality: A battle ability with shared tactical resource. Store up to two activations to force any unit to act immediately—ignoring cooldowns and turn order to swing the momentum of a fight. Gained on turn start per unit so speed gains more resource, you can have a few fast units helping slow units to nuke. Can help with more survival or more damage.

Gameplay: World map has increasingly difficult encounters. Will eventually have account progression unlocks, boss difficulties, tower content for late game.
Has 3 animation speeds for faster combat.

Controls:

  • Gear/precombat has drag and drop or double click to equip. Gear and units in collection have a right click menu for shatter/enhance/awaken
  • Combat click skills or  1-4 keys in combat to use skills then click for targeting if need for that skill. Activating the same button twice will to the same auto battle ai logic for it.
  • F1: activate Shatter Causality A: auto mode in combat, S: speed cycle in combat.

Enhancement: Collect gear, shatter unneeded items for resources, enhance gear, and awaken units to reach their full potential. (Awaken and enhance work now right click menu in Collect screen, more to come. Awaken is just gold for now but will have a farm later. Will also have rank up for units.)

Alpha Scope

8 heroes can be summoned, read combat tooltips for info on skills. Will add better UI but combat works with leveling and stats.

10 combat nodes with mini-boss encounter. (node 7)

  • The current focus is on refining combat balance and end-game feel of PvE encounters. Will work on more UI features and systems as that continues.
  • Will add some gear rating and clean up tools for QL with some optimizer in build tools or gear/unit sheet export.
  • Story is planned and outlined but I am much more interested in the game play so I will focus that first.
  • The map/units are modable as the jsons and art assets are in the game files but a good level of the logic is in the game code. May in the future add a no mod leader board but for now its free to screw around with.
